Privacy note
This note describes how Schema Signal Hub handles personal data when you write to us, book a review, or visit this website. It is written for a Kuching professional practice, not for an advertising network.
Who holds the data
Schema Signal Hub, No. 196, 1st Floor, Cinmuk Commercial Centre, Jalan Penrissen Batu 7, Kuching, Sarawak 93250, Malaysia. Telephone +60 82-614787. Email reviews@schemasignal-hub.digital. For privacy questions, use the same email with the subject line “Privacy”.
What we collect from this site
If you send the contact form, we receive the name, organisation, email, optional portal URL, and message you typed. The form posts to a static acknowledgement file on this site for demonstration of the send path; treat anything you type as if it will be read by the studio. If you email or telephone instead, we keep what you chose to send so we can reply.
Server logs on whatever host serves this domain may include IP address, browser, and the pages requested. We do not use those logs to build marketing profiles.
Cookies
The only first-party preference we set in the browser is a cookie-consent choice in localStorage, under a Schema Signal Hub key, so the banner can stay away after you accept or decline. Declining does not lock pages. See the cookie note for detail.
What we collect during an audit
A review may involve test accounts, screenshots, and samples you provide (payloads, exports, transcripts). We ask you to use test data where you can. If live personal data appears in a screenshot or file, we treat it as confidential client material, use it only to write the pack, and do not copy it into marketing, notes on this website, or unrelated engagements.
Why we use it
To answer enquiries, to scope and perform a review, to invoice, to keep a professional record of what was delivered, and to meet Malaysian legal duties that apply to business records. We do not sell personal data. We do not run remarketing lists from this site.
Malaysian PDPA
We handle personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 as it applies to a commercial practice in Malaysia: collect for a stated purpose, keep it no longer than the work and the law require, and take reasonable care of it. If you are the customer of a portal we are reviewing, your data controller is usually that organisation, not us. Direct those requests to them unless we hold a copy in the pack — in which case we will coordinate with our client.
Who else sees it
Studio members working on your enquiry or engagement. An accountant or invoicing tool if needed to bill you. A host or email provider that carries the message. We do not send enquiry data to advertising platforms. If a close-out includes a vendor you name, we share only what you ask us to share.
How long we keep it
Unsuccessful enquiries are kept up to twelve months unless you ask us to delete sooner. Engagement files, including the pack and invoices, are kept for seven years as ordinary business records unless a longer legal duty applies. Browser consent preferences stay on your device until you clear them.
Your requests
You may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete enquiry data that is not required for an invoice or a legal duty. Write to reviews@schemasignal-hub.digital. We may need to confirm it is you. Some portal-audit files belong jointly to the commissioning organisation; we will not silently strip a pack another party paid for without speaking to them.
Children
This site and our services are for organisations commissioning professional work. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
